Word for Today

And behold, there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon, and this man was just and devout, waiting for the Consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was upon him. And it had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not see death before he had seen the Lord’s Christ. Luke 2:25-26

Simeon isn’t mentioned much in the Bible, but what a testimony is given in just a few words. How wonderful to be remembered throughout the ages as just, devout, and waiting upon the Lord. Today, if you are waiting, and many of us are doing just that, be patient. God will arrive in His own time.  He is faithful. Perhaps Dec. 2010 will be the time when you will see the Lord’s promise fulfilled in your life.

It’s Christmas

MAY THE PEACE OF CHRIST FILL YOUR HEART THIS CHRISTMAS.
