John McCain – Still A Hero

John McCain is now twice a national hero.

Senator McCain served in Vietnam, was captured, and held as a prisoner of war during which time he was cruelly tortured. He is truly one of America’s best.

Now he is doing his job in Congress and once again serving with distinction by telling the American people what is included in this ear-mark laden ‘Omnibus Bill’ that Harry Reid and other liberals are trying to slip through Congress before the lame duck session of  Congress ends and our ‘public servants’ go home for the holidays.

Many unethical Americans tried to demean and question Senator McCain’s service to America when he ran for president, however, he was ethical then, even to the extent of apologizing for using Barack Obama’s middle name when campaigning against him. (I thought the apology was unnecessary.)

Today, he is right to expose those who are attempting to sink America further into debt by spending money we do not have on projects we do not need.  I think John McCain is a true American hero. It takes courage to do what he is doing.
