Before you hear Obama praise Reagan

It may be that tonight, in the State of the Union speech you will hear Barack Obama praise Ronald Reagan. If so, keep in mind that this is not the real Obama that you are hearing. Not too many years ago he wrote:

“When classmates in college asked me just what it was that a community organizer did, I couldn’t answer them directly, instead, I’d pronounce on the need for change.  Change in the White House, where Reagan and his minions were carrying on their dirty deeds…” In another part of the book, Obama criticized Reagan for “verbal legerdemain.”  By that, he was accusing Reagan of intentionally maintaining a gap between his sunny rhetoric and the actions of his administration.

Who is more dangerous, the Obama who ran for president promising to transform America and redistribute the wealth of her people or this new Obama who is supposedly moving to the center?

Has Obama moved to the center or is he still a far-left socialist who leans heavily on the teachings of Karl Marx? Has he become an admirer of our country or is he still the person who believes America owes the rest of the world an apology?  Is he ready to actually fight to save our system of government and fight for America or is he simply wanting to buy more time in order to complete the transformation after 2012 when he will not have to be concerned about re-election?

My belief is that he has not changed but rather is doing what he knows he must do in order to be elected in 2012 and continue to transform the USA.

I believe that the most dangerous politician is the one who is willing to become a chameleon in order to be elected. That, most likely, is the Barack Obama who now claims to admire Ronald Reagan.

Hi. You’re right. Obama doesn’t admire Ronald Reagan but the Chicago Left wingers, including the Weather Underground. I’ve never heard Obama say anything about Karl Marx, but some of his associates openly admired Mao Tse Tung.
