Would a political activist dare target a democrat?

Barbara Hollingsworth wrote an op-ed for the “Washington Examiner.”  The headline is “Group Targets Speaker Boehner’s (small-h) house.” Hollingsworth probably doesn’t even realize that she gave those who teach journalism a great example of a double standard held by the writer.

While it is scary that there are people who now go to a person’s home and protest and ‘Yes’, this may mean the end of law and order as we have known it, this isn’t the only scary omen in the ‘journalistic’ write-up.

I find it rather scary that an American citizen can become so political that they either will not or cannot grasp the concept of equal justice under the law or liberty and justice for all.

Hollingsworth is complaining that activists and demonstrators are invading private homes to protest laws they do not like. But why does she find cause to complain:

Notice what Barbara Hollingsworth states in the piece:

And it’s not just Republicans and Big Business executives who are being targeted for unwelcome house calls.

Hollingsworth goes on to say:

Last May, 500 screaming, placard-waving members of the Service Employees International Union descended on the home of Greg Baer, deputy general counsel for corporate law at Bank of America, and stood on his front porch to protest foreclosures, terrifying Baer’s 14-year-old son…Greg Baer is a life long democrat.

Uh-oh! Did these activists cross a line that liberals never expected would be crossed? How dare demonstrators treat democrats the same way they treat republicans?!
