Support for Israel dimishes?

Many in the USA have stopped caring about whether or not our country supports Israel. Most of these people support Barack Obama and the Democrat’s agenda. Some have begun to wonder if Israel should have a right to exist?

I believe that we are approaching a time when people everywhere will have to decide to whom they will give their allegiance. Eventually there may be only two choices – will a nation support those who align with Israel or will they support those who align with Islam?

We have always supported Israel and their right to exist while Ahmadinejad was calling for Israel to be wiped off the map.

Now Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has called for the removal of the United States saying,

“The main problem in the Muslim world is the presence of the United States. It is the biggest problem. We need to address that,…”

He went on to call from an Islamic state in Egypt.

A brief look at what was happening to the Jews in Muslim countries is helpful in understanding what is at stake for these people. In Ishmael’s House: A History of Jews In Muslim Lands by Martin Gilbert gives an account of why the nation of Israel was born in 1948. In it he explains how Jews faced massacre if they were unwilling to convert to Islam.

Gilbert recounts in often horrific detail the gradual ethnic cleansing of Jews across North Africa and Arabia. His figures are startling. Following the declaration of the state of Israel in 1948, while 726,000 Palestinian Arabs became refugees, 850,000 Jews were ethnically cleansed from Muslim lands, of whom 580,000 fled to the safety of Israel. None of them received any UN assistance.

Please pray for Israel, the USA, and our world today.
