Ancient Christian Books Found

Dead Sea Scroll Exhibition

The discovery is being hailed as the greatest find since the Dead Sea Scrolls. Seventy books have been found made of leaded metal on which are written the history of Christ. They were said to have been found in a remote cave in Jordan, but are now in the possession of an Israeli Bedouin who claims they have been in his family for hundreds of years. The find has historians and Christians very excited:

On pages not much bigger than a credit card, are images, symbols and words that appear to refer to the Messiah and, possibly even, to the Crucifixion and Resurrection.

Adding to the intrigue, many of the books are sealed, prompting academics to speculate they are actually the lost collection of codices mentioned in the Bible’s Book Of Revelation.

While I cannot see how the books would be related to the book of Revelation, I am interested in knowing what is written within the books and why they were sealed.
