For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. 1 Corinthians 1:18

While those who are perishing might consider preaching foolishness, many certainly do not consider the power of the cross foolishness. This has been pointed out by Reverend Michael Youssef in his book When the Crosses Are Gone.

If those who are against Christ believed the cross to be foolish, would they be so intent in their efforts to have the cross removed from our daily lives? Apparently even the lost realize that the cross represents the power of God.

Pastor Youssef points out that today, in the USA, there are “forces at work who would strip the cross from public venues and minimize its significance in our personal lives.”

Think of an America where the crosses are gone. Would we want to live in this America?

The book can be ordered on the website, “Leading The Way” at a special price of $12.00 until September 11.
