Herman Cain Wins in Nevada

Assuming that Cain continues to lead and wins the nomination, which do you think would be best:

When I placed the poll on my blog, ‘Who Won the Debate in Vegas’, I wanted to see how my small readership would vote compared to voters in Vegas. The report came out today.

While the questions were actually different, the results are still comparable.

In a straw poll in Nevada, Herman Cain won. In my poll Herman Cain came in second with Ron Paul the winner here. Mitt Romney came in second in Nevada and he came in third in my poll. If Ron Paul were left out of the equation, (and I think he will be in the actual primary) the results were about the same.

If the primary were held today, Herman Cain would probably be the Republican nominee.

I have heard some say they would like to see a Cain/Romney ticket. Some say a Cain/Rubio Ticket would be a winning ticket. I think Cain/Gingrich would be better for the nation.

As one that started out after the 1st debate last spring a Herman Cain supporter I have recently changed my mind. Three things are formost in that decission 1) Cain being the head of Kansas Federal Reserve and his statements there is no need to audit the Fed. In my opinion the Fed not only needs an honest audit, it needs to return the trillions it has taken. 2) In a recent debate Cain picked Newt as favorite VP among contestants. Tells me he is another mainline republican and therefore part of the problem. 3) His 9/9/9 tax plan. Any tax plan that puts in place another tax without completely eliminating an existing is nonsence. Simular plans in Europe have morfed into higher rates. 9/9/9 is actually 9/9/9/9 as it includes a 9% payrole tax. The only candidate who is honest and can turn this country back to the Constitution with executive orders is Ron Paul and he needs a solid unified conservative backing. I appreciate your comment and I agree that there are some things about the 9/9/9 plan that bother me a little. I do like Herman Cain, a lot. I want to learn more about when he plans to abolish the IRS. His lack of experience bothers me some and the things you mentioned do also, but I like the guy a lot. As for Newt, I think he is by far the most intelligent person in the race and he would be good for America. Cain probably would not pick him, as he said repeatedly, “This is just a game.” If he did, however, Newt would bring something to the ticket we need. He would be someone who has a clue. Ron Paul has some things that I like a lot and some things that bother me. I will vote for whoever runs against Barack Obama. Right now I am not 100% sure about the Republican primary. Truth be told, the person I want isn’t running – Mike Huckabee.

What I don’t understand is why the allegations that Obama’s name was placed on the ticket in Indiana fraudulently isn’t being investigated, along with other allegations of fraud around the country. All who want Obama out of office must come together at some point. I think we should keep studying and listening to all candidates until we find the right man or woman.

We have been in a two party dictatorship going back to before Reagon. One party pushing us to Socialism/Marxism at a faster rate than the other but same direction none the less. Every Republican candidate in the race so far excepting Ron Paul and maybe Machele Backman is part of this establishment. I will give you three quotes FDR: presidents are selected not elected. Ike Eisenhower: americans need to be warned of a military/industrial complex that threatens our very liberty. JFK: I am here to warn you of secrete societies whose goal is to distroy the american republic. These quotes may not be exact but the meaning is correct. I sincerely believe the people pushing for “A New World Order” and one world currency are controlled by those of which we have been warned. We have been in near constant war since WW2 with a cost to american people in trillions of dollars. The wars themselves extremely expensive and then we get to go in and completely rebuild that which we distroyed. Sounds pretty lucrative to a Millitary/Industrial conplex. Also not to mention not only the thousands of U.S. troops lost but how about the thousands of innocent men, women and children that have been bombed and burned in these illegal conflicts. Yes they are all banned by the Constitution which states we shall not ingage in any foriegn conflict usless directly attacked. Sorry but the only candidate that promises to restore our Contitution is Ron Paul. If you were check out some polls not put forth by mainline media I think you would find Ron number 1-2 or 3 in all and handily beating Obama. There is good reason why he does not get the press of others and that is his stand against the illegal Federal Reserve and his plan to restore America. Just think what he could do with the use of executive orders which are now being used to strip us of our republic. Join the thousands of college kids that are waking up and put your resources behind Ron Paul. Thanks for listening.

I am glad to listen and I appreciate your comment. There are things about Ron Paul that I like. I am aware of the the conspiracy theory of the “Illuminati”, but do not know much about what to believe about it. As for the two party system both taking us in the same direction, I see evidences of that as well, however, Obama is on the fast track and I believe that if he is re-elected, it is over. I just keep trusting that the Lord is in control and nothing happens that surprises Him. I do believe that He wants us to be civic minded and do what we feel is right. It seems to me that if Ron Paul runs as a third party candidate it will assure the re-election of Obama and that is the worst outcome. I will think of what you wrote. Thank you for stopping by.

Paul will not run on third party which is why if we want honesty and constitution restored we need to get him nominated. Do not know if you are a Glen Beck fan but he gets much of his info from Alex Jones. It would be hard to believe all that Jones brings forth, but if true we have very little time to get back our country. He also thinks the good Lord is watching and is just waiting for evil to run its course. Have a good one. P.S.: If you do tune into a Alex Jones on You Tube be prepared for some serious ranting as he totaly hates what is happenning and is one of the few patriots left willing to stick his neck out. The danger lies not in if he is wrong but in if he is right.

I watched Glenn Beck when he was on Fox and I was a fan, but I haven’t subscribed to his new internet channel. I understand that we are in trouble. I will check out Alex Jones. Getting Ron Paul nominated seems impossible. He has a faithful following, but media gives him no attention and in today’s world ‘media rules’ to a big extent.

You are correct about mainstream media and them not giving Paul equal space which is exactly why he needs to be nominated. Mainstream media pushes whomever they are told to push and denigrate any who may upset the powers in place. Paul has won more polls than just about any in the field and is always in the top three but is never mentioned and if they try to spin him as a radical. Well then the Constitution must be too radical for todays politicians. No sooner did I say he would not run as a third party then it sounds like he might. I have a number of democratic friends that voted Obama and now realize the mistake in his Marxist agenda and see Paul as our only hope after Bush and Obama. Alex Jones has a video on You Tube called the “Obama Deception” that would be worth your time to watch and then I would like to hear your thoughts. O by the way Ron Paul is getting tremendous support from none other than the college kids, wonderfull. still hope yet for the next generation.
