Clint Eastwood and the Untold Obama Connection

When I was growing up, in Sunday School we sang a song:

Oh be careful little eyes what you see and O be careful little ears what you hear….

We need to be reminded of these words when we listen to our president and those who support him. Although they are taken out of context of the meaning of the song,  they do fit quite well when analyzing the rhetoric and the truth about the Clint Eastwood Super Bowl commercial.

Eastwood says he is “Certainly not affiliated with Mr. Obama.” Eastwood goes on to say, “The ad doesn’t have a political message. It is about American spirit, pride and job growth.”

Your eyes and ears are telling you that the spot had nothing to do with the Obama re-election campaign and therefore did not break any campaign finance laws.  Maybe Obama will skirt the law once again, but the re-election bid? I think it certainly did have something to do with that and perhaps you will think so as well.

Here is the song for those who haven’t heard it before:

Go by YouTube and give the song a thumbs-up!

Perhaps politicians need to consider that citizens are capable of seeing through the deception.
