Thus says the LORD to you: ‘Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s. 2 Chronicles 20:15
It pleased me to hear the first words from Scott Walker’s mouth last night were words of thanks to the Lord. He obviously understood that the battle that was won, was won only through divine intervention.
When forces such as those against Scott Walker, come against us, we do not have the strength to fight against them.
Unless the LORD builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; unless the LORD guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain. Proverbs 127:1
While I know this, I have to be reminded time and again.
May we continue to pray for our country, our leaders, and our own willingness to stay in the will of God. None of us are right in everything we do and we all should be careful.
Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall. 1 Corinthians 20:10
We should pray for each other and for all those in high office. God’s word tells us to do this. Pray for the U.S.A.
