Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation…

And they sang a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll, and to open its seals; for You were slain, and have redeemed us to God by Your blood out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation…” Revelation 5:9

I am thrilled when I think of how God is working and calling His own out of every nation. Because news media often only reports the animosity and hatred that many in the world exhibit, we sometimes forget that God has people everywhere.

An account given at Commission.com tells the story of how God spoke to one of His own in Cairo, Egypt. Often today we hear missionaries tell of how God first speaks through dreams and prepares the heart before sending a person with the gospel.

Read about *Sameh and how God prepared his heart in a Muslim land.

We see what is happening in our land as many turn to atheism and paganism and sometimes we do feel troubled. Jesus, however, has told us, “Let not your heart be troubled…”

God is still working and we can count on that.

*Name has been changed.
