God is watching! We can count on it!

Do you feel discouraged? Does it seem that those who are willing to lie and cheat do better than those who are honest? This is only an illusion. The Bible clearly teaches that the Lord God, the great I AM, is always watching and He watches with intent!

“For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him. …” 2 Chronicles 16:9

The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry. Psalm 34:15

The eyes of the Lord are in every place, keeping watch on the evil and the good. Proverbs 15:3

The eyes of the Lord preserve knowledge, but He overthrows the words of the faithless. Proverbs 22:12

For who has despised the day of small things? For these seven rejoice to see the plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel. They are the eyes of the Lord, which scan to and fro throughout the whole earth. Zechariah 4:10

And Elisha prayed, and said, “Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain [was] full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha. 2 Kings 6:17

Then David lifted his eyes and saw the angel of the LORD standing between earth and heaven, having in his hand a drawn sword stretched out over Jerusalem. So David and the elders, clothed in sackcloth, fell on their faces. 1 Chronicles 21:16

Thus says the Lord: “Refrain your voice from weeping, and your eyes from tears; for your work shall be rewarded, says the Lord, and they shall come back from the land of the enemy.” Jeremiah 31:16

Our job is to remain faithful. Whatever the outcome of any situation, God is seeking to redeem and bless the faithful. He does keep watch over what is happening and nothing is lost.
