“Innocence of Muslims” Producer Served as Scapegoat for Obama Administration

We are hearing very little about the arrest and subsequent incarceration of the producer of the video entitled, “Innocence of Muslims.” The charge was that he violated probation and he wasn’t jailed for making the video, but the fact remains that because the Obama administration accused him of causing the killings in Libya and throughout the Middle East region, he was eventually arrested and sentenced.

Did anyone notice the number of officers sent to arrest a man who only violated probation?

The original statement that the video spurred violent protest around the Middle East has since been proven to be erroneous. Some protest may have been spurred after the film and/or filmmaker was brought to the forefront of national attention by the Obama Administration when they incorrectly claimed it was responsible for the attack on our embassy in Libya, but even that is unlikely.

This is very troubling to me. I am troubled that citizens seem unconcerned that our ambassador was tortured and murdered. Everyone was concerned when the attack was said to have been caused by a private citizen who made a video, but when it was fully determined that this was not the case and that our own government would not give us the facts, over 50% of the American people became indifferent.  I am troubled that we have a “justice” department that is only concerned with protecting a political party and this administration and doesn’t seem interested in justice for an American citizen or for those who died in Benghazi. This might be a good time to consider the words of Martin Niemoller.

First they came for the Communists,
and I didn’t speak up,
because I wasn’t a Communist.
Then they came for the Jews,
and I didn’t speak up,
because I wasn’t a Jew.
Then they came for the Catholics,
and I didn’t speak up,
because I was a Protestant.
Then they came for me,
and by that time there was no one
left to speak up for me.

Martin Niemoller

Associated Press has posted the family’s house number in a prominent place at the end of the video. Hiding may not be as easy for the family as it seems to be for those who were supposed to testify in the Congressional hearing.
