Celebrate Operation Christmas Child 100,000,000 Shoebox

Hopefully most readers, all Christians and many Americans are familiar with Samaritan’s Purse and Operation Christmas Child. This past week in Orlando, FL this organization celebrated the delivery of the 100,000,000th shoebox. Over 11,000 people were in attendance.

I and my husband were blessed to be able to attend in Orlando, FL this week-end and take two of our grandchildren. It was so wonderful to be in an assembly with that many Christians all praising the Lord.

For me, the highlight of the event was when Mary Damron sang “God On the Mountain”. You see her in the video above. She was introduced by Franklin Graham because she and her husband contributed a tractor truck load of hand-made gift-wrapped shoe-boxes to deliver to children in Bosnia. She is from W. VA and battling cancer. Please remember to pray for her. She was such a blessing.

Jesus came that we might have life. Jesus is the light of the world. If you want to share that light, one way is to get involved with Brother Franklin Graham and Samaritan’s Purse. The great commission is being accomplished and this is one way to be a part of it. There are still people to be reached.
