In less than sixty hours, Christmas 2013 will be over. Enjoy every minute of the next 59 hours if possible. Thank Jesus for coming and setting us free. Thank Him for bringing joy and peace to a world where sin and sorrow are too much a part of everyone’s lives.
Enjoy the trees, the lights, the music, but most of all, enjoy the love.
When Jesus was asked, “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?” Jesus replied, “‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’This is the first and great commandment.“ And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets. Matthew 22:36-40
Let’s find someone to bless this Christmas and spend time letting Jesus know how much we love Him. One way we can do this is to thank and praise Him for what He has given us. The way we are able to give a gift to Christ is by giving to those in need.
Matthew 25:40 And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’
The King is Jesus. Imagine – He is so full of love that all he wants on His birthday is for me to give something to another person who is in need.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS
