Obama, speaking of the ISIS threat says, “…media needs to help in this…”
This week, when I heard what Barack Obama had to say concerning the role of media and the reporting of terrorist attacks by radical Islamic terrorist, I had no idea why he said this or really what he was thinking. Later, it became clear. Here is the quote:
“The media needs to help in this, I just want to say. You know, during the course of this week — a very difficult week — it is understandable that this has been a primary focus. But one of the things that has to happen is how we report on this has to maintain perspective and not empower in any way these terrorist organizations or elevate them in ways that make it easier for them to recruit or make them stronger.” Barack Obama
Do you wonder, how can media, by reporting what is happening, further empower terrorist who are already terrorizing multiple countries in the Middle East and Europe?
Here is what I think the POTUS really wanted to say to the media.”Stop reporting on terrorism. It is destroying my narrative that we have contained ISIL!”
Up until now, Fox News has been the only media source who has complained that Obama will not use the words ‘radical Islamic terrorists.’ Fox will use the words ‘war’ and ‘ISIS’ in the same sentence. Fox News has called him out time and again when he continues to insist that the group he calls ISIL is a contained group.
The recent attacks against France, Russia, Belgium, Africa, and the continued attacks in Syria have changed the scenario. The New York Times has now reported that ISIS has attacked around the world. France has declared they are at war with ISIS. All news agencies are beginning to sound more like Fox News. Our nation is in danger and those who have acted as President Obama’s lap-dogs until now are beginning to awaken and realize that this is not a time to play politics and that if we are not at war already, we are certainly on the verge of war.
It is sad that our president is more concerned with his narrative than with protecting our nation or Christians around the world and that he is more concerned with doing what Rahm Emmanuel has done, “You never want a serious crisis to go to waste.” I see him doing this when he uses the horrible attacks by ISIS to push his global warming agenda.
