Garrett Swasey’s Christian testimony in Colorado Springs

Garrett Swasey has left a loving family who is grieving. He has left a church family who will miss him. He has left a legacy.

His pastor said it best, as reported by Fox News:

“He might not be in alignment with the abortion industry, but he’d be willing to go in and lay down his life for those people, and that’s just the testimony to me of the kind of man that he is. Not just courageous, but Christlike,” said church co-pastor Scott Dontanville.

“He would want us to forgive this man (the gunman) and to go on with our lives,” Dontanville said.

Brother Garrett Swasey is now at home with the Lord and will be reunited with his wife and children someday. This is according to 2 Corinthians 5:8 and we know the Bible is true. God has given us this testimony: :

“The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever.” Isaiah 40:8

we are [as I was saying] of good courage and confident hope, and prefer rather to be absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord. (amp. Bible) 2 Corinthians 5:8

Garrett Swasey, thank you for your service. May you rest in peace.
