Let’s Keep the Gun-control Issue Out of the Courts!

The first order of business for Barack Hussein Obama in 2016 is to by-pass Congress and issue executive orders for what he has decided is best for other Americans.

Obama plans to take executive action to allow the federal government to, once again, be involved in gun ownership. Congress has 535 voting members: 435 Representatives and 100 Senators. These elected officials who are responsible for our laws and law-making have not seen fit to pass any further gun control than what we have at this time. If Americans are not satisfied with their decision, we have voting rights in place and can make changes. This is how our system works.

Given our present conditions, Americans need to keep this issue out of the courts and we do not need to resort to street protests. These are steps that will lead to a loss of freedom. We who are not satisfied with the ‘orders’ need to issue our protests on November 8th, 2016 by casting our vote for a candidate who will support the Constitution.

A president who supports the 2nd Amendment can rescind the executive orders of the president on his first day in office.

Scotus has become very political and will indulge in law-making. We do not need to ask the supreme court to weigh in on this issue. The American people need to decide if the second amendment will stand and if we want the right to self-defense or just how we want guns regulated! We will do well to consider what could happen if the present supreme court rules on this matter.
