Can a nation, who turns away from God, recover?

Psalm 33:12 a nation that is no longer under god is a nation gone ...

Psalm 9:17 The psalmist tells us the fate of nations who forget God and in verse 20 he asks God to reveal a truth to these nations.

The wicked shall return to Sheol,
all the nations that forget God. Psalm 9:17

Put them in fear, (YHWH) O LORD!
Let the nations know that they are but men! Selah Psalm 9:20

Because nations are but men, will God hold men responsible for actions that bring moral decay to a nation? The answer is “Yes.”

One area where our nation has forgotten God is in the arena of what we call ‘public’ education. The majority of people in our nation have turned over the responsibility of educating their children to the government. The government in return has chosen to never allow creation to be introduced or taught and even the idea of Biblical creation has been banned from classrooms. The Bible isn’t taught or allowed and in the place of “In the beginning, God created”, evolutionary biology is taught as factual.

Evolutionary biology is a conceptual subfield of biology that intersects with other subfields that are delimited by biological organisation level (e.g., cell biology, population biology), taxonomic level (e.g., zoology, ornithology, herpetology) or angle of approach (e.g., field biology, theoretical biology, experimental evolution, palaeontology). Usually, these intersections are combined into specific fields such as evolutionary ecology and evolutionary developmental biology.

Coming World War 3 / One World Government
Has any scientists even wondered why, if creation is false and without evidence, even the suggestion of a Creator must be banned in public schools?

There are three  themes that are prominent from Genesis to Revelation. These are Creation, Covenant Relationships, and Redemption. When we as a nation allowed creation to be removed from all educational endeavors, our nation began to decline. Without an understanding of creation, mankind will not have a clear understanding of the concept of redemption and will not be able to enter into a covenant relationship with the Lord God. In biblical terms we will return to Sheol  (the abode of the dead.) No wonder Satan has worked so hard to have even the suggestion kept away from our children!

For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse. Romans 1:20

God’s promises never fail and all Americans will not be lost due to this, however many, perhaps most, will be lost.

Creation is evident when scientific findings are actually examined without prejudice – Creation.comGenesis alone has 48 verses that tell us of God’s creative work. There are many other Bible verses that teach creation and these verses also tell us that we are to praise God for His creation. They tell us much about God and help us to understand His power and majesty.

One of my favorite verses on creation is:

 — ‘Ah, Lord GOD! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You.  Jeremiah 32:17

Here are a few others:

Deuteronomy 32:6 — Do you thus deal with the LORD, O foolish and unwise people? Is He not your Father, who bought you? Has He not made you and established you?

Job 9:9 — He made the Bear, Orion, and the Pleiades, and the chambers of the south;

Psalms 33:6 — By the word of the LORD the heavens were made, and all the host of them by the breath of His mouth.

Psalms 100:3 — Know that the LORD, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.

Isaiah 40:26 — Lift up your eyes on high, And see who has created these things, Who brings out their host by number; He calls them all by name, By the greatness of His might And the strength of His power; Not one is missing.

Isaiah 40:28 — Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the LORD, The Creator of the ends of the earth, Neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable.

Jeremiah 51:15 — He has made the earth by His power; He has established the world by His wisdom, And stretched out the heaven by His understanding.

Amos 4:13 — For behold, He who forms mountains, And creates the wind, Who declares to man what his thought is, And makes the morning darkness, Who treads the high places of the earth; The LORD God of hosts is His name.

John 1:1 — In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

John 1:2 — He (Christ Jesus the Lord) was in the beginning with God.

John 1:3 — All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.

Acts 17:24 — “God, who made the world and everything in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands.

Acts 17:25 — “Nor is He worshiped with men’s hands, as though He needed anything, since He gives to all life, breath, and all things.

Romans 1:20 — For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse…

If our nation is to recover, we must repent and end the practice of hiding all evidence of creation from our children.

I am a grandmother of seven and I like to garden, read, study the Bible, and spend time with family. I am not very politically active, but very interested in who is elected to lead our country.
