How do we decide?

Our world, our lives, and everything that exists came to be either by the work of an intelligent Creator or by natural selection and what scientists call evolution.

There are some who try to believe both are responsible for where we are, who we are and all that exists. In truth, it is either one or the other. We are either here because there is a Creator God or we are here by accident.
What hinges on the truth of how we came into being? Everything!

When all the layers are peeled back, we will find that either there is a God who created and controls the universes, who created by His Word, who provides for us, and who has life in His breath or there is nothing except a short span on this planet whereby we slowly deteriorate physically and then die. Finding something other than one of these two possibilities is impossible. I challenge the reader to think about it in light of our reality on planet earth!

Rather than list the evidence for each, I would like to ask questions?

My first question is why would anyone prefer the second prospect in the paragraph above to the first? *

How could a stable, biologically favorable universe come into existence?

What is the mathematical probability for a universe with the right environment to come into existence without a Creator?

How is it that only human-kind evolved to the superior stage whereby using our intelligence, we are able to dominate and subdue all other beings on earth?

From where did the laws of physics derive?

What is time?

How and why did emotions evolve or were they created for a purpose?

Why is it that, in nature, proteins never form outside of living cells?

How was the command for each cell to make protein given?

If Amino Acids are able to concentrate to form protein in cells why is it that Amino acids do not concentrate in the ocean; but rather disperse and break down?

If RNA formed by natural selection is formed from simple gas molecules, why can’t this process be duplicated in a science lab?

Why is it that only human-kind creates (music, art, economy, architecture, etc.) as if made in the image of a Creator and all other life has remained incapable of these achievements?

How is it that we see evidence that mankind’s thought processes have remained constant since the time during which Moses wrote?

Why and how did music come into existence?

Why does man have a moral code?

If evolution, how did life evolve in stages whereby each organism developed just the right characteristics at just the right time so as not to upset the ecological balance?

How did ecological balance occur in the first place?

If evolving means gaining the ability to survive, how is it that even when man is able to lengthen his life-span for a few years, the quality of that life hasn’t evolved, but deteriorates?

Why do architects often copy “nature” when designing a structure?

Because an organism cannot live unless the protein that supports it folds correctly, and because there are numerous ways for protein to fold, how is it that life continues until a disease or accident causes death. How does this happen?

How is it that multiple trillions of one cell organisms, which contain all the processes required to support life, have remained in existence as one-celled organisms and not benefited from the process of evolution if it exists?

It is my contention that we can arrive at the truth without going through tons of data concerning evolution that in the end, proves nothing.

There is actually a concise two-fold answer that not only makes sense, it has been written and preserved for humanity: God created through His word and everything is held together by Christ, the living Word.

(Christ) Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. Colossians 1:15-17

and

In the beginning, God… Genesis 1:1

After careful consideration would you then agree with these verses:

For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made… Romans 1:20

Ecclesiates 12:13-14 13 The end of the matter; all has been heard. Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man. 14 For God will bring every deed into judgment, with every secret thing, whether good or evil.

And you being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven all your trespasses, having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross (Colossians 2:14,15).

Blessings are promised if we believe:

Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. …And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who seek Him. Hebrews 11:1,
