The Birthday of The King

Twas The Birthday of the King”  👑

“…He will reign over the house of Jacob forever. His kingdom will never end!”

AN EVERLASTING KINGDOM

Revelation 11:15 Then the seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and loud voices called out in heaven: “The kingdom of the world is now the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ, and He will reign forever and ever.”

In the Bible we learn of God’s Kingdom. A kingdom by the very definition, is ruled by a king. God’s Kingdom is ruled by God.

JESUS TESTIFIES OF HIMSELF

Mark 1:15 “The time is fulfilled,” He said, “and the kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe in the gospel!”

Jesus said to the Pharisees in Matthew, “But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.” He also said,  “And into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you: Heal the sick who are there and tell them, ‘The kingdom of God is near you.’…”

PAUL’S DECLARATION TO TIMOTHY

1 Timothy 6:3 I charge you before God, the One giving life to all things, and Christ Jesus, the One having testified the good confession before Pontius Pilate, 14 for you to keep the commandment, without stain, above reproach, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 which He will display in the own seasons, blessed and alone Sovereign, the King of those being kings, and the Lord of those being lords, 16 alone having immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no one of men has seen nor is able to see, to whom be honor and eternal dominion. Amen

JESUS DECLARED KING

John 12:15″FEAR NOT, DAUGHTER OF ZION; BEHOLD, YOUR KING IS COMING, SEATED ON A DONKEY’S COLT.”

Revelation 19:16 And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written, “KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.”

HOW DO WE ENTER THE KINGDOM?

 REGENERATION:

John 3:3 Jesus replied, “Truly, truly, I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.” 4 “How can a man be born when he is old?” Nicodemus asked. “Can he enter his mother’s womb a second time to be born?”5 Jesus answered “Truly, truly, I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit. 6 Flesh is born of flesh, but spirit is born of the Spirit. 7 Do not be amazed that I said, ‘You must be born again.’ 8 The wind blows where it wishes. You hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”

REPENTANCE AND FAITH

Mark 1:15  And saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.”

SEEK THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD THROUGH CHRIST

1 Corinthians 6:9 Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Romans 3:22 And this righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no distinction,
